<snip>Me, I like multiple editors. What I'd really like is to have the
source view and the WYSIWYG view of an HTML file open at the same time,
and see results on either view automatically reflected in the other
view.

Me too ;-)

Nope. Welcome to the wonderful world of open source. Even though this
is the highest rated enhancement in the package, they still haven't
gotten around to it and in fact are arguing about the implementation.
The good news is that the stop-gap solution that was included in Eclipse
version 3.1 is perfectly good for us: it allows multiple editors to be
open for the same file. The bad news is that I have no idea when WDSC
will be upgraded to version 3.1 of Eclipse.

By the way, the argument is that instead of having multiple editors on
the same file, that every editor have a split-pane capability, where you
can grab some sort of handle on the screen and split the editing portion
of the editor into multiple independently scrollable panes. Then the
argument devolves into how many panes, what orientation, what the
control widget looks like, and on and on and on...

Me, I like multiple editors. What I'd really like is to have the source
view and the WYSIWYG view of an HTML file open at the same time, and see
results on either view automatically reflected in the other view.
