Hi Dave,

I don't know about CODE itself but you probably won't see any advantage by
going to the v6 Designer. So if you are not seeing any problems and want
to still use the v5.1.2 tools as well as v6 just leave things as they are.

Subject
[WDSCI-L] WDSC V6 and Code Designer

Good Morning all,

I have both WDSC v5.1 and WDSC v6 on my work PC since the techs wanted
me to test the loading and use of it.

Last week, after a post from Violaine that indicated that CODE must be
loaded to use CODE Designer from WDSC V6, I checked and, lo and behold I
am launching WDSC V5 Code Designer from V6. So I tried loading CODE
tools and was told I needed to uninstall WDSC V5 before I could load
CODE V6.

Does anyone else have any knowledge about this, what is on your
machines if you have loaded both? Do I have to load the CODE tools? If
so, is there a way to do it without un-installing WDSC V5.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Dave Boettcher
