I solved my own problem.

I coded the member under a different name, and then did a save as. I can now
open the member in the LPex editor.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RSEF1002E Message reported from file
system:java.lang.reflect.In vocationTargetException

I am getting the error message "RSEF1002E Operation failed. File system
input or output error (>>Details = ) Message reported from file system:
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException" on a single I5 source member
while trying to open it in the LPex editor. I can open it in code. I can
rename the member and open it then. I can delete it, and copy it.

I googled the message id but the resolutions I found deal with not being
able to open any I5 source member. Each also had, AFAIK, different message
detail dealing with the connection.

I have attempted to search the error logs but have not come up with anything
helpful.

I am on Version: 5.1.2.4 Build id: 20050104_2139 of WDSCi

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be, and what I can do about
it?

Thanks
Duane Christen
