I've had several programmers in our shop say they have experienced serious
slow-downs in the responsiveness of WDSCi the last couple of days. It seems to
take longer to start up, take a lot longer to resolve filters, and take longer
to bring up lists in the Table View.

All of these programmers have also noticed slow-downs in the responsiveness of
the iSeries itself. The green screens are taking longer to refresh, with
occasional bottleneck pauses. However, the delays in WDSCi seem much longer
than the delays experienced with the green screens.

Would delays in the responsiveness of an iSeries system due to high work load
lead to disproportionately longer delays in WDSCi? Maybe WDSCi has a harder
time than green screens dealing with an iSeries that does respond immediately
to messages? Or should I be looking for other causes to the slow-down in WDSCi
responsiveness?

Thanks,
Kelly
