Speaking from a 5.1.2 install, right-click on iSeries Objects listed under your
server connection and select Verify Connection. The results window will list
any missing PTFs for the various WDSc components. -m

Subject: [WDSCI-L] How to check for server side PTF's ?

Hi,

How does one check if the iSeries itself is up-to-date regarding PTFs when
using WDSC ? The update manager is only responsible for client side fixes
(WDSC itself).

I know some check exists as part of CODE/400 and its connection profile, but I
haven't installed that part anymore since I upgraded to 5.1.2.

Kind regards,
Paul
