From a previous message in this newsgroup:

The Delete and Backspace keys were changed in the SEU profile to work in a line-oriented fashion. To change back to 'Notepad style', select Window > Preferences > LPEX Editor > [+] > User Key Actions > and redefine two actions:

  Key: delete
  Action: delete

  Key: backSpace
  Action: backSpace

After each key redefinition, press "Set", and then "OK" at the end.

When I upgraded to 5.1.2 from 5.0.1, I had a few annoying items show up.

For example,
In 5.0.1 a backspace when the cursor was in column 1, would delete the line and move the cursor the last column of the line above.
In 5.1.2 a backspace in column 1 does nothing.
