I don't know of any formal studies.  I know that a programmer with no
prior experience with WDSC writing fixed form rpg should get a
performance boost immediately from the tab key behavior.  Anyone can
benefit from the way compile errors are displayed.

product manager, claims "Although there's a certain comfort level
associated with green-screen development, you can really do native
development faster [with RSE] than with SEU."
Does anyone know of any studies or other factual evidence to confirm
this claim?
