Server dies on project launch

I'm not sure what I did to cause this, but I can't start any server with a
project in it.  I'm on V5.1.2, trying to work with the portal toolkit.  It
was working fine, so, of course, I messed with it.  I can launch a portal
server fine as long as there isn't any EAR file associated with it.  The
gist of the error message is:
