Why not create a RNNM or CPYSRCF command in the iSeries Commands area of the
Remote Systems view?

I have a CPYSRCF command set up for each language I use. When I want to
create a new COBOL program, I simply copy and rename an existing COBOL
source member to bring in all the standard copybooks. I'm sure you could do
the same with your RPG template member.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Extending RSE

Has anyone been able to successfully extend the workbench. I've done a
little Java programming. Maybe 'a little' isn't enough. It was easy in
CODE/400 but I can't find any examples of how to do this.

What I'd like to do is to Open a Member into JLPEX then display a dialog
to rename the member. Basically I have a template RPG member that has a
standard set of H specs and company stuff on it. I need to include this in
every source member. It's a pain to open it, Copy the stuff into my new
member then close it. Does this make any sense?

Thanks,

Mark
