It's not source that is required. It's visibility in the objects.

Thanks.

We are currently running S/21 Style 3.5 SP6 under V5R4M0 and did run on
V5R3M0 for quite some time. No issues that I can recall. I don't think
S/21 is that sophisticated the there were significant technical
differences between its versions although I do recall some time ago an
issue with imbedded SQL in a couple of programs. I can't remember the
exact details or how long ago that was but it was not a real show stopper
and was resolved fairly quickly by the Help Desk. However if you don't
have source there will be a bigger issue with the upcoming version of the
OS V6R1M0, where I believe source will be required to recreate objects
similar to, but not as drastic as the CISC to RISC conversion we went
through all those years ago.

[SYSTEM21] S21 3.5.2b SP2 at V5R3

Hi Dave,

Did you ever get a reply to this? I have been told that Infor will not
certify v5r3 for S21 3.5.2b.

I'd expect that it would work, but it's a problem if Infor will not
support it (particularly if you have maintenance, or if you don't have
source).

Best Regards
Chris

Is anyone out there running 3.5.2b SP2 at OS level V5R3 and are there
any System 21 software issues to look out for? We are moving from
V5R2. I'm going to check through answerlink but a second option is
always a good thing.
