Hi Jim & Bill,
Can you check to see if you folks have the following happening when you run
22/OEU.
It would seem that if a Misc. invoice or credit is created with only Misc.
or Sundry charges on it and no Item records the 22/OEU does not purge the
invoice.
I'm not sure if this is just something on our system or not.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Lin

Jim,

Look at option 28/INU - Audit File Purge Maintenance. This purges all
the audit files. Also, I use the order entry purge, and it works okay.

We are using V3.5.2 and I have just been looking at it. I think it is a
bit iffy because as far as I can tell, it does not purge the audit files
(OEP40A/OEP55A etc. It could be that a separate function clears the
audit files and I am unaware of it. Also, visibility to what the purge
does to advanced pricing files is obscured by a call to the rather
convoluted program OE316.

Subject: [SYSTEM21] 22/OEU Archive orders/invoices

Hi Group,

We are currently trying to delete inactive customers, and in the process
it would appear that we need to run the 22/OEU archive order/invoices
does anyone have any comments on this option?

Does it work?

Are there any tricks anyone knows about?

I've run it in a test environment, but in some cases for some customer
OEP65 records are not be removed.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Lin
