Re: Customer Purge

If you look at the second page of 1/ARM you will see a field called: Account Status
Placing your cursor in this field and pressing F1 shows the following Help Text:
Help Text

Account Status
Under certain circumstances, you may
wish to flag an account as being of a
certain status. The following statuses
are available:

'D' - Recommend for deletion.
'S' - Suspend trading.
'U' - Uncertain debt (the customer's
      debt may not be paid. This status may
      eventually be changed to 'L').
'L' - Legal status (where the
     customer's affairs are in legal hands

Mark the Customer for 'D'eletion and if it meets all of the deletion criteria it will be purged at the next month-end closing...

You might want to download a .pdf copy of the Geac System/21 Redbook from the IBM web page and read up on it there... It is an execllent resource...
