  • Subject: How to do a physical inventory?

We have recently installed JBA and are rapidly approaching the date of our first physical inventory after implementation.

Traditionally we have written inventory tags and then used MS Access to summarize them by part # and input them back into our old system.   Wondering how physical inventory is performed in JBA.   Specifically a few questions:

- Can individual tags be entered in JBA or only the gross totals by part number?
- Is there some sort of tolerance level to flag a recount?
- What function(s) is this done under?  Normal inventory adjustments?  31/INP (from memory)

Thanks,
Mike Von Stein
