JBA has a US developed application called "Pack and Scan" (something like
that..) that can be used to produce ASN's. We are using Varsity Logistics,
and while we haven't integrated it with JBA yet, it also has an ASN module.
Logpro is another vendor offering with ASN capability. Most of these
combine the EDI capabilities with printing of the appropriate "compliance
labels". These may all be overkill for your requirements as I expect you'll
spend at least $25,000+ for software plus integration work.

Subject: Creating ASN's from Sales Orders

We are running Version 3.5.2b and using the Harbinger Trusted link EDI/400
v. 11. We have a couple of Trading Partners who wish to receive ASN's.
They send in 850's or manual Sales Orders. They are more spot buys and so
do not fit into Schedules. They do not request detailed information just
shipment and item. Most of the information that they are asking exists on
the order files and would be found on or added to the Ship Note. Has anyone
made these modifications? Do you have any advice. Thanks in advance.

Have a great day,
