Customer Returns Credit Date Problem

We are at 3.5.2, SP2.

In the customer returns module, when a credit memo is generated from a
return, there is a facility to allow override of the credit date. The return
came in on 8/1/00 and the operator overrode the credit date to 7/31/00. When
the credit did not appear on someone's report, we got worried and looked at
the file. It appears that the date was written without the century indicator
turned on. Has anyone else seen the problem or have we missed a PTF
somewhere?
