The infobase would have come on a CD-ROM.  It may have a lot of information on
it, but you would have to go searching though the CD for it, and pretty much
know what you're looking for in the first place.

There really is no place telling you the database "model" with important "rules"
or "validations" or allowable "values".  Even if there was, Version 3.4 (as is
true with earlier and later versions) has many inconsistencies in the way
"values" are handled.  Some hard coded within programs, both logic statements
and tables, some within DDS for the screens (some even attached to indicators),
some within message files, or by passed parameters.  Plus some PTF's change
objects, relocating validation logic that isn't tracked by the documentation.

It makes for an interesting environment.  There is no purpose in "fighting" it
or complaining, it just is and probably won't change.  By the way, is there
concern that you are not on a Y2K complaint version?
