If there were a %COMPCORR built-in function, it would just compare all the subfields until it found one that wasn't equal. The return value of the built-in function would reflect the less-ness or greater-ness of that one subfield. If it got through all the subfields without finding any differences, it would return "equal".

But, as others have mentioned in this thread, it would be much more useful if there was something like a %COMPDS built-in function where there would be a procedure to do the comparison. The data structures would have to be related by LIKEDS though.
