When you have multiple modules bound together to make one service program,
do you have to be careful to insert the new procedures into the binder
source in the correct position, and always bind the modules on the
CRTSRVPGM in the same sequence, and always have separate signatures in the
binder source so you don't have to re-bind the callers?


No. Simply follow the rule you've already mentioned, always add procedures
to the end of your Binder Source.

It doesn't matter if there's 1 module, or multiple. Nor if you use
CRTSRVPGM or UPDSRVPGM.
