Hello Booth,

So I go looking and see there is STRPCO PCTA(*NO) and STRPCCMD commands. Seeing that triggers a memory... didn't someone write that that is no longer "best practice"?

"Long gone" are the days of rexec (that's what's beneath). I've been struggling to find a runnable client and server for Debian. Not easily available since the maintainers decided to decide for the sysadmins and deprecated rexec.

Unfortunately, ssh is still not an easy option to have on Windows. And I'm even less sure if it's possible to actually launch a GUI application from another session. I don't know what the rexec-server from IBM tweaked in Windows, actually.
