IS JSON OBJECT is telling me this is valid:

{: "KD", "intkRef": "Craig Intake 001",
"items": [{"itemRef": "Ref_001", "manuDate": "2015-11-21", "altRef":
"Alt_001", "itemText": "Text 001", "UOM": "SM", "weight": 0.25, "width":
5.0, "length": 25.5, "prodCode": "Product 1",
"colourCode": "Colour 1", "colourText": "Colour Text 1", "dyeLot": "Dye Lot
1", "QCHold": "Q", "faultCode": "abc", "grade": "Gd1", "stockType": "s",
"tareWeight": 1.01, "comments": "no comment"},
{"itemRef": "Ref_002", "manuDate": "2018-01-28", "altRef": "Alt_002",
"itemText": "Text 002", "UOM": "SM", "weight": 0.35, "width": 4.5,
"length": 24.0, "prodCode": "Product 2",
"colourCode": "Colour 2", "colourText": "Colour Text 2", "dyeLot": "Dye Lot
2", "QCHold": "C", "faultCode": "abd", "tareWeight": 1.11, "comments":
"still no comment"}] }

I dropped the key out of the first key-value pair.
( e.g should have been:
"warehouse" : "KD"
not
: "KD"
)

JSLINT agrees with me that it isn't a valid JSON object.

Anyone else come across this?

regards,
Craig
