Agree 100%, Bradley. I've been involved in delivering training for a few forward-thinking companies in the UK who've developed such apprenticeship programmes. The results over the last 4-years have been excellent and delegates have had little difficulty learning RPGIV - fully free-format, of course. (Not wishing to name-drop, but some notable contributors to the IBM i ecosystem came in to the sector through one of these apprenticeships.)
