Hi list!

Operating System: V7R1

Scenario:

a) Most of our users are using 5250 emulation sessions (default display size: 24x80)

b) I have a screen that I have to design to be 27x132.

c) Few people have their client sessions set to be 27x132, some don't.

Instead of going on each affected session to change the configurations (and avoid the program to blow up) I want to:

1) Detect the session's display size

2) If the sessions display size is different from the screen size, I want to end the program normally and inform the user that they need to change the display size to 27x132 in order to use the program.

I am using RPG Free. Open to suggestions to accommodate this process.

Thanks in advance,
Peter Vidal
