If you google 'CCSID 284' you'll find this
<http://www-01.ibm.com/software/globalization/ccsid/ccsid284.html>. There
you will see the note 'Related CCSID with euro is 1145'. 284 doesn't define
the Euro, 1145 does.

Hi

I have a problem with one file sent by FTP. The file generated is text
plain and contains this substring:

V_PRI_C2_DAT_C2|6.000,00 €

When try to access by sql (Operations Navigator) or another tools, it looks
like:

V_PRI_C2_DAT_C2|6.000,00 ¤

The symbol "€" is changed....., i know it's a problem with CCSID and
conversion characters between EBCDIC and ASCII, but, how can i manage this
issue?

When i generate the file?, when sent by ftp?, in another place?

I have this values in Sysval:

QCHRID: character: 694 page codes: 284
QCCSID: 65535

Any help will be apreciated

Thanks in advance
