So Scott's wrapper functions are pretty much exactly that: wrappers for
POI functionality provided by the Java POI project. Scott hasn't
wrappered /every/ POI class and method, but he's done a lot. That's
prefatory to saying that the real place to look for functionality
questions is the Java POI project.

Formula support in POI is a work in progress.

concept program that has a formula evaluator; I'm ashamed to say that I
don't know if I wrote it or if Scott did. Search for
FORMULA_EVALUATOR_CLASS. If you can't find it, I remember a thread not
too long ago where I posted the pieces...
