Hey Trevor,
The rtncount is supposed to be an output only field, defined in the IWS,
so I'm not sending it a value, its supposed to just return a value.

I know I can't do an INZ on a parameter field so how would I get around this?

How are you calling the program? It looks like you're not passing it the
RtnCount parameter.

Subject: Pointer not set for lcoation referenced error

I'm getting the above mentioned error but I'm not quite sure where its
coming from, any assistance would be appreciated.

D Row ds Qualified Inz
D Inv 5a
D Date 8s 0
D Name 25a
D Amount 9p 1
D Weight 9p 1

D SOAPXML2 pr ExtPgm('SOAPXML2')
D CustNo 4p 0
D StrDate 8p 0
D EndDate 8p 0
D RtnCount 10i 0
D RtnList LikeDs(Row) dim(5)

D SOAPXML2 pi
D CustNo 4p 0
D StrDate 8p 0
D EndDate 8p 0
D RtnCount 10i 0
D RtnList LikeDs(Row) dim(5)

My first line after /free is:

0028.00 RtnCount = 0;

that is where I'm getting the error.

Suggestions? I tried adding another var but that errored as I expected
it
to since it was already declared

It compiles but throws an exception when I try to run it in debug.
