RE: user profile

I don't believe the PSDS is write protected. In the dim past I would change the error message field in the PSDS to signal an error occurred in a subroutine. I was told that was a MAJOR romper-room no-no. The powers that were in place at that time fretted doing so would signal the OS an error had occurred. I've never seen an instance of such a thing occurring though.

The same may hold true for current user.

Follow-on question: Is it possible to change any of the fields in the PSDS?
For instance, if my RPG program gets a userid/password, calls QSYGETPH and QWTSETP to swap profiles, can it then change the PSDS.CurrentUser to be the new user profile? I don't know whether RPG has some sort of read-only enforcement on the PSDS - I think not, but I wanted to check.
