Is it me or are more and more companies leaving the IBM i / Power

IBM i to the world of Windows and canned packages. It's been over a year
now, and they have yet to buy their first package nor have they even
decided on one yet. I think they're finding it more difficult than they
thought to get rid of our IBM i. As it is now we're looking at least
another year maybe even longer on our IBM i before they totally get rid
of the system. It probably doesn't help that they keep hiring Bozo
consultants (no disrespect to Bozo the clown) who have no clue about the
IBM i and what it would take to migrate away from the system to a
Windows / Intel based system.

I hate to say it, but me too. They're going to dump the i, even if it costs them money. "The i is just an (ancient) AS400 (lipstick on a pig.)" Can't do anything about it. Gotta live with it, need to stay employed. I'm learning Oracle. IBM, you're too little, too late. Sorry.
