Robert,

I think they were just wondering if someone should start a FAQ. Don't
know if this was ever done, but in fact Scott's remarks in that thread
would probably have been a large part of it anyway.

As to a "standard" recommendation when trying to learn ILE is simply to
wear out a copy of "ILE Concepts". The archives contain hundreds of
"static vs. dynamic" conversations, though I can't understand why... I
don't really understand why this is such a popular topic...

Subject: Diff between static binding and dynamic binding

Hi all,

In an archived thread (Diff between static binding and dynamic
binding<http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/199909/msg00384.html>)
Buck and Scott speak of a "standard reply" to this difference.

Does anyone know if this was ever published and if a link exists?

Thanks,

Robert Rogerson
