Well, you can use the same source, just not the same program...

Nope, and I got flamed for wanting to tie RPG'ers to 5250 by someone I leave unnamed when I asked the same question on the System i Network.

Subject: handling handlers in RPG OA

I have not been able to find anything on this in my research.

If all you change in your RPG program is to ADD a HANDLER keyword, is there any way to retain one version of the source?
That is, a way you could run the same source with the same WORKSTN file using and not using a handler?

I cannot find a way. /COPY cannot be conditioned that I see. Tried external indicators (I already ate broken glass for even considering this).
Thought maybe could use OVRDSPF file, but did not see a way to do that either.

Thanks. Think Spring!! (unless you are one of those sick people who like cold weather)
