Hey guys,

My company is currently going thru a bit of 'growing pains'. We are an
iSeries software company,
that builds green screen and web applications (.wars deployed to Tomcat
servers on LAMP boxes).
We have an enterprise solution package that we sell, and then maintain the
levels at each customer
via maintenance plans, etc. Which means we trry to keep everyone at the
same level.
We are going thru quite a bit of headaches, primarily with our versioning,
promotions and distribution.

We are currently using Turnover, with a home-grown distribution. I was
thinking we should hire someone
whose sole job is version control. Not only in-house but also in the
field.

I was wondering if anyone else, falls into the same type of company that
we are.

I would just like to converse with someone to discuss what you are doing
to solve these
issues, and perhaps talk about some other strategies that you maybe
applying.
I'm definitely not wanting to get bombarded with sales emails. I'm just
wanting to talk to someone
who can relate and are successful with their processes. Just wanted to
bounce ideas with you.

Could you please email (david@xxxxxxxxxx), if you would be willing to talk
more indepth.

Thanks in advance
David

ps. Life was a lot easier when I wasn't working for a software company.
(haha)
