1. You are renaming the format for both files to F1
2. MyFile1 and MyFile2 must exist at compile time

Betreff: Any limitations with EXTFILE?

Hi,

I'm getting an SQL1001 from the precompiler with this code : "external
definition for myfile2 not found"

FMYFILE1 IF E K DISK RENAME(MYFORMAT:F1)
F EXTFILE('MYFILE')

FMYFILE2 IF E K DISK RENAME(MYFORMAT:F1)
F EXTFILE('MYFILE')

nothing else - no other messages even level 10. Am I allowed to use EXTFILE
twice on the same external file?
