An attack is possible. The error seem to happen in batches, not sporadic.
I am having my network guys looking into it. I am having them put a
sniffer on the network and then we can look the data for the times the
errors occur as well as identify the source. Since this is past the
connection, is there a way to determine the source. I have a transaction
log but I don't log anything until the send or receive or an error. I
don't log anything in the listener job.

Regarding OOBINLINE.... The problem is only occurring in production. I
have to go through the change management process to get code promoted so it
will take some doing to get that change promoted.
