Why? Why not just have the DS in the subproc and load it by
doing the input into it directly by specifying it on the I/O
operation. If you are not yet on 6.1 you cannot use EXFMT
for this, you have to do READ then WRITE but apart from that
it will work just fine.

I've just tried this but I don't think it will solve the problem as I must use a qualified DS.
If I populate the DS on a READ, how do I populate the display file on the next write? I think it would work if the DS wasn't qualified.
