Re: Displaying footer record in a windowed subfile

I am curious: Is there a need to "write" the footer format? Having
mentioned it in the subfile control record, it would seem redundant to
mention it again in the RPG specs?

As an aside, have you looked at the default for WDWBORDER? Its quite
attractive compared to the RI. (In my opinion). :)

I have a windowed subfile that I need to display a footer record at

bottom of, I have never been able to get it to work......

I have the overlay turned on as it should be, the footer record is a
windowed file as well, the same size as the ctl record/subfile and I
have
the message line turned off. Nothing seems to work....it will appear
briefly before the EXFMT statement and then its gone.

Suggestions?
