It is only defined once. I changed the syntax to use /free and it looks like that it is complaining about all the host variables that are defined and used in the SQL starements.

Do you know if host variable use changed in 6.1?

Are there other definitions of g310Stmnt in the module, in another procedure
or the main section? SQL preprocessor has had some teaks in it's tolerance
of non-identical definitions of the same variable. The preprocessor is
mostly (completely?) ingnorant of RPG variable scoping rules.
