I know when somebody answers this I'm going to go 'Geez' I should have known that but right now I'm going around in circles on how to do this. I've checked the archives and I haven't found anything but this is such an obvious question so I'm more then likely not searching well enough.......

I have a timestamp field that I want to have updated with a date field and hivals for the time portion of the timestamp.

Easy enough to get the date field in;

MyTimestampField = %timestamp(MyDateField);

The time portion of the datestamp field is set to lowval after this. So how do I get Hivals into the timestamp without nuking the date?

Thanks
Andy Hautamaki
