Maybe. It depends on if you are using commitment control or not and
if so, what lock level you are using.

Sorry, I read the original post wrong. slj is correct, the record in
the physical read through the logical remains locked until another
record is read through the logical or the logical's pointer is
repositioned using SETxx.
