Ignore the previous message: I actually figured it out.

119 TestDateN = %Dec(%Date(Tsw3:*Cymd):*Iso);
120 TestDateN = %dec(%date(TestDateN:*iso) + %days(1));

Having a date conversion issue

I am trying to convert a date while I am adding an additional day to the
date in free and having a bit of a hassle with it.

Any suggestions would be appreciative:

I have a field that is a CYMD date....this is in a file and so I am stuck
with it:

I need to write the value back out as an *ISO0 IE: 8 digit numeric and I
have no choice there.....

The date in the file is 1080627

Here is my code:

0101.05 TestDateN = %Dec(%Date(Tsw3:*Cymd):*Iso);
0101.06 TestDateN = %dec(%Date(TestDateN:*cymd)+ %days(1));

It does compile ok, but when I run it, it tells me the receiver is too
small to hold a numeric value....and the TestDateN variable is defined as
an 8,0.

I need to convert the CYMD to an eight digit format and add 1 day to
it.....in the least amount of code possible.

Suggestions?
