I tried using LR in positions 7 & 8 of a free and had to use fixed format as
it would not compile. Being on V5r2 I never thought about asking the group
or anyone else. We have our new System i in house, just waiting for the
electricians to run a line from the generator. Can't wait!

Obviously, the best way would be to re-write, but I am trying to avoid

If you're using total time level breaks, I'm pretty sure you'll need to
have a short fixed-format mainline that basically just calls the
appropriate procedure for each break.
