What do you mean by "RPG program calling a Java method"? And how does this relate to the SQL server mode?

Do you mean that you're calling the JDBC routines in Java to access the same system (your local System i)?

We found this information, but can't seem to find any examples in RPG using
either method (there seem to only be C examples).
There are two ways to enable SQL server mode on the AS/400:
* Have your CLI application use the SQL_Attr_Server_Mode option on the
SQLSetEnvAttr
function.
* Use the QWTCHGJB (Change Job) system API to enable SQL server mode.
Has anyone else used this?
