I have the row size set in the template, but I set the column size, merged
cells, and cell formats in my program.
Our logo takes up 8 consecutive cells of the first row which is set to a row
height of 102, and I merge the cells in the program.
The logo that I am using is also a jpg. I do increment the rowcount for the
row where the logo is displayed, but I don't do a HSSFSheet_createRow for
that row.

I'm not sure what else I can tell you that might help.

You basically use the following to open a template:

// Open template for new spreadsheet
book = hssf_open('/yourdir/template.xlt');

And instead of creating a new sheet you open the existing one:

wkname = 'Sheet1';
sheetname = new_String(%trim(wkname));
Sheet = hssf_getSheet(book: %trim(wkname));>

Gene Thanks for the reply.

What you describe is bassically the same as what I'm doing, then I get the
cells I'm interested in updating, and I save the workbook to a new name.
Only problem is I'm losing all the cell formating of the template, and
never see the logo in the saved workbook.

Thanks for your reply
