I am not sure what you mean by "resequence data."
As the sequence number is part of the key, the process will apparently just happen as you process the subfile and add/update records. You will want to keep the original key fields as hidden fields in the subfile. That way you can compare original key fields to the viewable key fields and see if you are adding. updating, or deleting data records.

If you really need the data to be reorganized, you could reorganize at the end of the process?

The user will see a subfile of all records in the file with the sequence # available to be changed.
In addition, they can add records and specify any sequence # they choose.
Add, Change and Delete are all done in one pass.
