WDSC has wonderful help screens to explain operations like this. This also 
depends on what version of the operating system you are using.

At V5R3 I would do;

WKDATE = %INT(%CHAR(YYYMMDD:*ISO0));

There may be a better way I was doing this a V5R2 also.

How would you do this...???  Where WKDATE is 8p0 and YYYYMMDD = D (*iso)
