... could be emailed to them. Is there a easy way to do this?

I have a free open source solution to do this using RPG (note there is some
Java classes behind the scenes, but you do not need to have any knowledge of
Java to make it work). Check out RPGMail at http://mowyourlawn.com

I just wrote an article about it for http://www.ibmsystemsmag.com/ (direct
link http://tinyurl.com/kvbsn)

Note for anyone that has downloaded this before, I realized a short while
back that I didn't include the Java code. Somebody that needed the Java
source for HA reasons told me so now the Java source is also included.

Michael, I think they want it to be hands - free. So it could be emailed to
them. Is there a easy way to do this?

I have users, go to

Tools --> Transfer Data from iSeries. Then have them select a data
transfer request that is saved to their personal network drive. It's
been awhile, but if I remember correctly... the file doesn't even have
to be CSV, just a regular database file.

HI What are some of the methods in taking a file that was generated by
an RPG program and getting it to the user in an Excel Worksheet file?

It seems to be a straightforward file. Is there a preferred method.
Any issues w/ v5.3 and the client access ?

Thanks,
Steve
