I believe if you are looking to make sure that they are not having their 
password beginning with their username, then this should work:
       If (%Scan(%Trim(Usrprf):%Trim(Password):1)) > 0;
         x = 1;
         Dsply '' ' ' x;
       Else;
         x = 0;
         Dsply '' ' ' x;
       EndIf;

%SCAN QUESTION







Hi,

Can anyone tell me how can i use the instruction %scan, in 2 variables 
that
are :

D USRPRF                S             10

D PASSWORD              S             10

I receive this two variables in the program, and i want to know if in the 
variable PASSWORD
exist one string equal in the variable USRPRF.

Ex:
      USRPRF = FB0001
      PASSWORD = FB0001A
