Learning RPG - "Application Development by Example"

I faxed in one of those Reader's Comments forms from the back of the "ILE 
Application Development Example" book.  Basically I wanted to know how I 
could get to the book that this book refers to, namely "Application 
Development by Example".  Here's their response:

That book no longer exists.  The book AS/400 ILE Application Development 
Example Version 4 that you are reading hasn't been updated since V4R1, and 
at that time, apparently, the Application Development by Example book was 
still in existence.  Because we have not updated the ILE book in the 
meantime, the reference to the old book has not been removed.  Sorry that 
this was confusing to you.  Thanks for taking the time to comment.
