Leap year issues with TEST (DE) -- RPG400-L

Hi 

I came across a problem with the TEST (DE). Was wondering if anyone has a 
workaround. If you have a date of birth of
2/29/1948, 2/29/1952, 2/29/1956 or any valid leap year before 
they year 2000 the code *MDY/ TEST (DE) turns the %Error flag on.

Any thoughts
