SNDEMAIL: BCC causing errors

When I use the SNDEMAIL command from Dave Leland I am having problems when
I use BCC.  When I use BCC the following happens:
1)  The subject line is dropped.
2)  The body includes much of the formatting crud, including who the mail
was bcc'd to!  Sample below  (email addresses changed):
