What message number are you getting on that journal?

Hi all,

I have a job which runs in batch 24 hrs. At one point of time everyday we
change the files used from one libarary to another. When I do the
database(lib) switching i follow these steps
close all the files.(current lib is LIB1)
ENDCMTCTL ansd STRCMTCTL again
change current libray to LIB2
open the files from LIB2

All the files which are used by the batch job are in LIB1/LIB2 and some of
them are journaled to a jounal JRN1/JRN2 in LIB1/LIB2 respectively.

After doing this switching i am trying to delete the journal(JRN1) from
another job after doing ENDJRNPF(*all)for JRN1/LIB1, but i get an error
saying cannot delete journal.

I want to find out if there is any job which is using this journal under
commitment control.

How do i do it ???

thanx
Sunil
