Hello:

I have a table with name, amount, city & state fields, which users have
keyed in different info in the name field, city and state are unique.

 Example: for Customer = IBM:
The data in the name fields are:
                IBM @ Newyork connection
                Chicago IBM center abc
                SF IBM 11245

City and State fields: New York, NY

I need to group all the customers where name in %IBM%, %CISCO% etc and sum
the amount fields. How can I do this if the name fields are varying as
stated above.

Isn't there a way I can change the values of the name field such as: if
%IBM% change the values of the name field to IBM and so on.

Thanks for your help in advance.
GG
